Initiation for Children

OCIA adapted for Children - to begin the preparation period to celebrate the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist)

If your child has:

• NOT been baptized (over the age of seven) OR
• If your child is in the 4th grade (or older) and has not celebrated First Holy Eucharist

Please call Katie Maynard at extension 214 to schedule an initial interview prior to enrolling your child in the OCIA Process.

In the OCIA process for children, the Rite designates a parent as the appropriate sponsor for their child.  This requires a family catechesis process in which a parent attends the classes with their child(ren).

*Unfortunately, we do not offer a bilingual program at this time.
