Volunteer Information

Youth & Family Faith (1 - 8th grades)

• Catechist (teacher) or Co-Catechist (co-teacher): 1 - 6th grade
   Adult volunteers are needed to share the faith with the young people of our parish.  Teach your own class, teach with a friend or be paired with another volunteer!  Training and support are provided.

• Middle School Core Team/Small Group Leader: 7th - 12th grade (Confirmation Preparation)
   Adult volunteers are needed to serve as Core Team Leaders/Small Group facilitators for our Sunday evening middle school program. Core members are provided with all of the resources, supplies, and materials needed to work with a small group, and no prior experience is necessary.

• Catechist/Core Team Aide (adult and teen): 1 - 12th grade
  Not ready to take the lead, but still want to serve?  We need adult and high school volunteers to serve as Catechist Aides to support the lead Catechist/Core Team Leaders during class time.  Aides attend class sessions and participate but are not expected to prepare or lead the class session.

• Substitute Catechist/Core Team Leader: 1 - 12th grade                                                                                                                                     Throughout the year we are in need of individuals who would be available to fill-in for catechists (usually with more than one week notice and provided materials in advance).

• Launch Support Team                                                                                                                                                                                       Want to share your faith with the youth of our parish but not in a classroom setting?   Help is needed for our monthly Launch Youth Ministry events for youth in 3^rd- 6^th grades.  Work with a team of adults and high school teens to plan and lead these monthly social gatherings with the support the Youth & Family Faith Team.   Launch meets one Friday afternoon/evening each month.
