I was born in San Francisco and raised in Daly City. My family was very involved in the Catholic church, registering as parishioners in three different parishes in the San Francisco Diocese. We had a family choir, consisting of my father on guitar, my older sister as soloist, my older brother and I as "backup singers", and my mom (who was harmoniously challenged) keeping a clapping beat. During my high school years, I served as youth minister, where I also served more actively in the mass as eucharistic minister and lector. I met my husband Raul, a native Rocklin resident, in 2002. There was a lot of driving back and forth between the Bay Area and the Sacramento Area. But, it was worth it! We married in January of 2005, and I finally moved up to Rocklin five months later, finding a job with the City of Sacramento, and later with the City of Roseville. We have been parishioners of SS. Peter & Paul Church ever since.
The past 25 years of my career have been in local government, serving the public in various capacities. And, here I am today, with the honor to serve our parish as Coordinator of Liturgy. All my life I have heard God's call at various stages. My parents were exceptional examples of Christianity, sharing with me the gift of a relationship with our loving God from a very early age. And, His presence has been the only constant in my life. His hand has guided me to where I am now. And I look forward to answering His call.
In my off time, I enjoy camping, antiquing, rockhounding, reading, and crafting.
I look forward to meeting you at mass or at any one of our parish gatherings and events. If you see me around, please feel free to come by and say, "Hi!"
