The SS. Peter and Paul Parish Foundation considers completed applicationsfor students (grades 8-11) planning to attend a Catholic high school, high school seniors and college students planning to attend an accredited college, community college or university full time next year, and those applying to an accredited vocational and/or trade school within or outside a college. Eligibility
To be considered for a scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Attend an accredited college, community college or university (college applicants), an accredited vocational and/or trade school within or outside a college (vocational and/or trade school applicants), or aCatholic high school (high school applicants) full time for the upcoming school year. The college scholarship is for undergraduates only and limited to four consecutive academic years.
Be between the age of 13-26, a current, registered member, or a legal dependent of a member, of SS. Peter and Paul Church for the last twelve (12) consecutive months.
Applications
We will have a single application for use by all applicants. Please download the PDF located in the left column of this page. At this time, we do not accept online submissions. For your application to be considered, you must:
Complete all sections.
Provide all requested information.
Provide signed verification by a supervising person for activities you list, or nocredit will be given for that activity.
Catholic High School Scholarships: You are encouraged to apply if you are a student entering 9-12 grade who will enroll in a Catholic high school for Fall of this calendar year.
First Time and Returning College Students: You are encouraged to apply if you are graduating from high school this year and enrolling in university/college programs for Fall of this calendar year.
Applicants to Accredited Vocational and/or Trade Schools: You are encouraged to apply if you have graduated, are in good academic standing, or hold a High School GED and are enrolling in a vocational and/or trade school program for Fall of this calendar year. Completed Applications
Please return completed applications in a sealed envelope to the Parish Office no later than Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 3:30 PM. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM (closed 12-1 for lunch).

If you mail your application to the Parish Office, the postmark must be no later than March 19, 2026. Interviews
The Scholarship Committee reserves the option to conduct an interview. You will be contacted if necessary.
Award Notification
Applicants will be notified of the status of their application in May 2026. Recipients will be asked to attend a special Mass (date to be determined) in the month of May 2026.
Pay it Forward
SS. Peter & Paul Parish Foundation asks for continued support from our award recipients. Recipients may be asked to speak on behalf of the Scholarship Committee and share updates of their own Catholic high school, college or vocational and/or trade school experience with our parish community.
Checks will be mailed directly to the college. If you are approved to receive a scholarship, the recipient must provide the college name, address, and student ID number no later than June 30, 2026. If the recipient drops out of college, all unused funds will be returned to SS. Peter & Paul Parish Foundation. Funds are not transferable. If the recipient changes colleges after the check is mailed, they forfeit the scholarship. If the recipient is unsure of what college he/she will attend, a formal request by letter for an extension is required. If a student planning to enroll in or is already enrolled in a Catholic university and is granted a scholarship and enrolls in a secular university instead, the Scholarship Committee will re-examine the award and the scholarship amount granted may be reduced or forfeited. It is the recipient’s responsibility to notify the Board Chair of any changes.
Scholarship Payment Guidelines (Vocational and/or Trade School Applicants)
Checks will be mailed directly to the vocational and/or trade school. If you are approved to receive a scholarship, the recipient must provide the vocational and/or trade school name, address, and student ID number no later than June 30, 2026. If the recipient drops out of the vocational and/or trade school, all unused funds will be returned to SS. Peter & Paul Parish Foundation. Funds are not transferable. If the recipient changes vocational and/or trade school after the check is mailed, they forfeit the scholarship. If the recipient is unsure of what vocational and/or trade school he/she will attend, a formal request by letter for an extension is required. It is the recipient’s responsibility to notify the Board Chair of any changes.
Proof of Catholic School Registration (High School Applicants)
A recipient will only receive his/her award upon receipt of documentation they have registered in a Catholic high school for the Fall semester. Checks will be mailed directly to the school. If the recipient drops out of school, all unused funds will be returned to SS. Peter & Paul Parish Foundation.
Confidentiality
The Scholarship Committee will look at many criteria in determining which applicants will be awarded a scholarship. Evaluation Criteria:

There will be no discussion of any personal information outside of the Scholarship Committee and no discussion beyond what is necessary to determine scholarship recipients and award amounts.
