Music has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in Connecticut, living with my parents, my sister, and a loving Italian family! With my Dad, I joined the choir at my church, The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. I have been singing in or leading a choir ever since. I participated in numerous musical productions both in school and in community theatre. In Connecticut, I worked in news at WFSB-TV, then I practiced law for several years before my job moved me to California. After a couple years, I realized law was not my calling, but rather it was education. I went back to school and became an elementary school teacher (mostly 5th grade) which I loved for 20 years before I retired in 2021. This was an amazingly fulfilling time! I led the children's choir at my school and a neighboring school; I led a children's choir at St. John's Church in Sacramento; I continued to sing in the adult choir and cantor at Holy Trinity Church in El Dorado Hills. When I moved to Rocklin 10 years ago, I searched for a church where I could feel at home. When I walked into SS Peter & Paul, I knew I had found my church! I was thrilled to find such a welcoming congregation and an incredible music ministry. I have been singing in the SSPP choir and serving the ministry as a cantor for those 10 years. Since music serves the liturgy, I see my role as Music Coordinator to help the congregation participate fully and prayerfully in the Mass. We will share music that supports the readings, the liturgical season, and encourages the congregation to participate. In my free time, I love to play with my new puppy, Sophia. I also love to craft (if it can be crafted, I will try it!). I love to read. I belong to a Recipe Group and play bunco with my fabulous friends who have become family. "I play the notes as they are written, but it is God who makes the music." Johann Sebastian Bach
