When: Saturday, October 4th the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. Join us for all or part of the day’s events in honor of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals and ecology, the lover of all creation.
Where: The celebration will be held in the SSPP Nature Sanctuary beginning at 10:30 am. Please bring a chair if you need to sit.
Schedule: 10:30-11:30 Prayer Service
11:30-12:45 Information tables, family activities & refreshments
1:00-2:00 Optional hike at Secret Ravine (map provided); return to SSPP with your pet.
2:30-3:30 Blessing of the Animals—All creatures great and small are welcome! But for the well-being of all, please use leashes, harnesses, or pet carriers.
